●Dirk Schoysmanからメッセージですよ。

ニュル24時間レースの結果は皆さんご存知の通りかもしれませんが、レース終了後数日して、やはり心配だったのでDirk Schoysman（ダーク・ショイスマン）に電話をして体調とか聞いてみました。

ちなみに、Dirkとは５年くらいかな、の付き合いなんだけど、ニュルでよく会ったり、ビデオのロケで僕のクルマをニュルでドライブしてもらったり、昨年のニュル24時間レースのチームのドライバー（山下さん）のニュルプライベートドライビングレッスンをしてもらったりで、公私ともに仲良くしていただいています。

電話でも残念そうな声をしていたけれど、体調はぜんぜん大丈夫ということで一安心でした。
そしたら、おとといDirkからこんなメールが来ていたのでご紹介します。

Thank you for your earlier phone call, I appreciate very much.

The Falken team is not very lucky, every time we are in the top 3, something goes wrong. The first time a new driver went off (we must accept that one can make a mistake), then 2 years ago the engine blew, and now the suspension broke (lower wishbone bolt front right).

I am very disappointed, especially for the team who puts in so much work every year again and of course for Falken who invested serious money in the project. It is nobody's fault, it just happens.
The one positive point is that we were running second at the time -around 7.30am (we would have finished 4th though as the works BMW and the Viper were catching up quickly) and thus the tires have shown that they were really good!

Hope you are fine and that Prospec is florishing.
